Unlike most disease, HIV and AIDS most patients with productive age between aged 15–49 years. The percentage of HIV infection highest reported on age groups 25–49years (69.1 %). The percentage of the highest AIDS on age groups 30–39years (42%). Therefore, HIV and AIDS can be a great threat to the Indonesian work force and their impact is very bad for the economy and the problems in the workplace. Remember the productive age is the backbone on the working world, when HIV and AIDS more widespread on the community workers, then will result in various negative impacts such as reduced or weakening worker resources and increase the cost of treatment and care, lost working days, working situation not conducive, all of which will lead to a decline in productivity and threaten the survival of the business world. Then to anticipate the negative impact of HIV and AIDS cases in the workplace required prevention efforts and the optimal response. The Literature Review done for mgather information about HIV and AIDS in the workplace from various scientific sources in the form of the journal article, handbook relating to the distribution of the impacts of the policy and implementation of various models in some countries in the prevention efforts and HIV and AIDS. References obtained from various sources such as journals and articles BMC Public Health, PLOS One, Health Research and Police System, Environment Research Public Health and other sources related to the topic, then done categorisation and documentation using software Endnote and then arranged in the form of literature review. The recommendations from the literature review presented in the form of research questions about how the effectiveness of the HIV and AIDS Comprehensive model to prevention and tackling HIV and AIDS in the workplace in Indonesia.
