BACKGROUND-Clean and healthy life behavior is an indicator of disease prevention efforts. PHBs is a set of behaviors that are practiced on the basis of consciousness as a result of learning that mnjadikan person or family can help themselves in the field of health and play an active role in creating public health.


OBJECTIVE -to get an overview PHBS rural households Nepo about SPAL, personal hygiene, clean water, healthy WC.


METHODS -The study design was descriptive with a population of households in the village Nepo with a sample of 150 households were drawn randomly from the population. Research using questionnaires and manual processing.


RESULT -The results showed that of the 150 respondents who had SPAL only 35 respondents (23.33%) and SPAL clean as many as 22 respondents (62.85%). Individual hygiene nail cutting more than three times as many as 82 respondents (54.65%), brushing teeth after every meal is only 13 respondents (8.67%), wash your hair more than three times a week by 95 respondents (63.34%) and wash hands with soap and water only 40 respondents (26.67%). Clean water views from the source is the well / PDAM No 103 respondents (68.66%). WC healthy 100% of respondents had defecated in the WC and WC types squat / net there is 98%.


CONCLUSION -The study of households in the village Nepo for toilets, clean water and have good personal hygiene and SPAL are still very few who use SPAL. It is recommended that the Government from the village to the district level to improve counseling and demonstration activities.
